| The Combine Commander (CCom) was the first gameplay software used by the Star Wars Combine. From 1999 to 2000, it was one of two programs which every player was required to download in order to participate in the simulation. The second program, HoloCom, was the client where the actual gameplay took place and allowed the player to travel through space, to move around on the surface of planets, to visit buildings, etc. The short-lived Combine Commander program was a standalone application written in JAVA by Sim Master Fizzban. In April 2000, the Combine Commander was replaced by the Interactive Combine Information System (ICIS), which was subsequently replaced by the Darkness interface in December 2003. (more...)

May 8 - The Compedia has been moved to a new home. We are currently in the process of porting things over manually. This is to better organize things and make things easier to use. Please help us move articles from this Compedia to the new one! The Wikia hosted compedia will remain and I will still manage things requiring administrator access. -- Bios Element
